Amenities

YOU ARE HERE. BUT, WHERE WILL YOU FIND YOURSELF?

With amenities spanning all of North Tahoe, Tahoe Mountain Club offers a complete mountain experience. There are no gates to drive through, no fences keeping you in – go ahead, explore the true Tahoe. Here, the rules are simple – have fun.

  • Gray's Crossing (A)
    • The Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing

With the elevation changes, rolling hills and postcard-quality scenery, once you play this course you’ll immediately know it was designed by Peter Jacobsen. Only a golf professional who moonlights as the lead singer of a band called, “Jake Trout and the Flounders” could create a course that is so fun to play.

      • Audubon International Signature Gold Sanctuary
      • Professional Golf Staff: Trained in all areas of operation and golf instruction.
      • Private Clinics and Lessons
      • Playing Lessons
      • Tournament Conditions: Tournament ready, every day, by an on-staff, professional team.
      • Club Repair: The first club repair shop in Tahoe.
      • Bag Storage: Bags are stored, clubs are cleaned and shined.

  • Old Greenwood (B)
    • Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf

Jack Was Here, Now It’s Your Shot.

Kiss your handicap goodbye because here, you belong to Jack. Old Greenwood’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course offers a challenging, fair game of golf. On the 18th, surrounded by towering pines, you’ll feel like a star when you look toward the green and see your friends cheering you from the terrace on the other end of the fairway. And if you end up taking a mulligan, just blame it on the distracting beauty of the course – it’s Audubon certified.

      • Old Greenwood was rated No. 4 among America’s finest new “Upscale Public Courses” by Golf Digest in 2005.
      • Golf Magazine rated it one of the 10 Best New Public-Access Courses in the Country (February 2005).
      • And in 2011, Golf Digest ranked Old Greenwood in America’s Top 100 Public Courses.

Kids Camps (ages 4 to 12)

      The Journey is the Reward.

Kids Camp isn’t a place – it’s a state of mind. This year-round camp is in session wherever and whenever the fun takes us. We’ll bring out the outdoor lover in even the most hardcore couch potato. Or add to your kids’ existing repertoire of adventure sports with something new.

  • At the Mountain (C)
    • Alpine Club

This cozy lounge located in The Village at Northstar is the quintessential après ski destination. Gather around the welcoming fireplace in the big comfy chairs and order a snack and a winter warmer from the full bar.

      Schaffer’s Camp

The next best thing to a ski-through window.

Sure, you can stick a peanut butter sandwich in your backpack and call it lunch, but you’re not in high school anymore (although you could be – you look great!). Located high atop Northstar-at-Tahoe away from the crowds, Schaffer’s Camp is paradise in the trees. Ski in, meet your friends around the fire pit, order a classic burger with a Peroni beer on tap and feed that peanut butter sandwich to a shivering squirrel.

Schaffer’s Camp blends the historic feel of a rustic camp setting with the warmth and comfort of a great mountain lodge. The 13,000 square foot restaurant sits at 7,900 feet along the west ridgeline at Northstar-at-Tahoe. A 6,000 square foot deck commands sweeping views of the Truckee River valley from KT-22 at Squaw Valley north to Castle Peak. Schaffer’s Camp is open for lunch for Tahoe Mountain Club Members and accompanied guests during the ski season.

A one of a kind, on-mountain dining experience. Pull off your ski boots and slip into soft, warm slippers. If you are eager to get back to the slopes, try the soup, salad and pizza express buffet. Or relax and enjoy our friendly service, extensive wine list and great menu including everything from fresh salads and hearty sandwiches to rotisserie fired chicken and house made pastas.

      • Complimentary coffee service each morning
      • Daily lunch service and deck service weather permitting
      • The Pub area – for those over 21
