STUNNING SIGHTS

Cruise to some of Lake Tahoe's most dazzling scenery.

SAND HARBOR

Tahoe’s prevailing breezes deposit white, fine-grained sand at Sand Harbor… thus the harbor’s name. With 55 acres of long sandy beaches and secret coves, Sand Harbor is arguably one of the most beautiful spots in Lake Tahoe with waters that are crystal clear. Without a doubt, Sand Harbor is truly spectacular!

THUNDERBIRD LODGE

This complex of structures was constructed of native granite in the late 1930’s to resemble a French chateau for eccentric real estate tycoon George Whittell, Jr. In addition to being a collector of classic cars, yachts and airplanes, he was very fond of exotic animals and kept several at his Tahoe estate including his pet lion, Bill.

EMERALD BAY

Carved millions of years ago by passing glaciers, Emerald Bay is a must-see for anyone looking to experience Lake Tahoe's beauty. Sheltered by towering trees, this inlet along the southwest shore of Lake Tahoe is known for its colorful granite cliffs and stunning panoramas. Make sure to bring your camera!
