Gray’s Crossing is a Gold Audubon International Certified Course

Gray’s Crossing Golf Course and Community is proud to be the second Gold Audubon Signature Sanctuary in the state of California. This designation is the highest level of certification offered by Audubon International and requires Audubon involvement from the planning and design phase through homeowner move-in. It was officially Audubon International Signature Sanctuary Certified in 2007.

2006, 2007, 2008 Environmental Leaders in Golf Award

 

Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards (ELGA), is a national program that is sponsored by Golf Digest and the Environmental Institute for Golf.

The Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing’s Agronomy team won recognition in 2006 (Merit Private Course Winner), 2007 (Chapter Private Course Winner), and 2008 (National Resort Category), under Mike Cornette, Golf Course Superintendent.

2006 LEED Certification

 

In 2006, the Natural Resource Management Center (golf maintenance facility) for The Golf Club at Gray’s Crossing was awarded Bronze Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification by the by U.S. Green Building Council. It is the first and only maintenance facility of its kind to receive this certification.
