Season Policies

We are so excited to welcome all our guests back to
both our Tahoe Mountain Club courses: Old Greenwood and Gray's Crossing!

Please review our 2020 Season Policies below before booking and playing.

(Updated 6/16/2020)

We will update these 2020 Season Policies in accordance to the latest guidelines set out by Nevada County.  Please review and understand these policies before booking, and be sure to check back before your visit to read up on the latest guidelines as updates from the county happen periodically.

  • Reservations must be made in advance either online, or by calling Old Greenwood at (530) 550-7024 and Gray’s Crossing at (530)550-5804.  No walk-on reservations are allowed.
  • YES! Golf carts or push carts will be allowed for individual use!  Immediate family and quarantine partners may ride in the same cart provided the driver remains the driver and the passenger remains the passenger.  Privately owned and operated golf carts are also allowed.  Due to social distancing guidelines, please understand that availability may be limited.  Additional “rider” carts will not be available as carts will be reserved for those playing the courses.
  • There will NOT be water stations on the golf course. Please plan ahead to bring your own water.  Keep in mind that if you will be walking the golf courses, you may consume more water than usual.
  • YES!  Food and beverage options ARE available onsite for grab & go.  No outside food or beverages (other than water) will be permitted at either of our courses.  Please respect the social distancing guidelines, and keep 6 feet between you and the other guests at all times.  Beverage carts will be operating as well!
  • Our Golf Shops are now open!  We encourage everyone to please respect the social distancing and face covering guidelines for the safety of everyone – Members, guests and Crew – within the shop.
  • If you are feeling sick within 48 hours of your reservation, please respect the health of our Crew and other golfers and call to reschedule.  Full Nevada County Health Guidelines can be found here.

  • Please respect the required 6 ft distance between yourself and other golfers and Crew. You will be allowed to pay with credit cards only – Visa, American Express or Mastercard are accepted.
  • Old Greenwood check in will be located in the Clubhouse building.
  • Gray’s Crossing check in will be located in the Golf Shop.
  • Carts are available for individual use, or for groups who are quarantining or carpooling together.  Subject to availability.  They will be disinfected before the start of each round and upon return.  Our Crew will wear gloves and faces masks when transporting carts.

  • Supplies: We will provide you with a zip lock bag full of tees, a scorecard, a pencil, and a bottle of water.
  • Bathrooms:  Golfers will be allowed to use the bathroom in the Old Greenwood Clubhouse and at PJ’s at Gray’s Crossing, which will be sanitized regularly. The bathrooms on course will also be available and sanitized regularly.
  • Food & Beverage will be available!  The Terrace (Old Greenwood) and PJ’s (Gray’s Crossing) are offering food options.  We also have our beverage carts running throughout the day.

  • Check in with the starter, and wait your turn (respecting the 6ft social distancing from other players and Crew).  Starters for Old Greenwood will be at the putting green, and Gray’s Crossing will be at the Range Tee
  • Practice greens are open and you are welcome to putt and chip as desired prior to your round.  Please do not touch the pins, provide your own golf balls, and maintain a 6ft radius between you and other players.  If the putting greens are active, without room for you to maintain distance, please wait your turn and maintain your distance. This is a great time to stretch prior to your round!
  • Once you are called to the first tee, please make your way to the starter for instructions on today’s round.
We are operating a touch-free course so please help us by following these rules:

  • Maintain a 6 ft distance between yourself and other players.
  • Benches, ball washers, bunker rakes and divot mix containers have been removed for safety.
  • Do not touch the flag stick. When retrieving your ball from the cup, please use your putter to lift the lever on the cup. This will bring your ball to the surface where you can sweep it away with your putter.
  • Please smooth your divots to the best of your ability with your foot.

*** If at ANYTIME during your round you aren’t feeling well, need assistance, or witness other players not respecting our guidelines please call us immediately:  Old Greenwood Golf Shop (530) 550-7024, Gray’s Crossing (530) 550-5800

Please respect our efforts and play by the rules as we all work together to safely enjoy our courses.  These guidelines are in line with all current Nevada County regulations, and allow us to keep our facilities open. Failure to confirm, may result in health and safety issues, and our courses being closed in the future.  Follow the rules, be safe, and HAVE FUN!!
