They can be booked online at or by using the Tahoe Mountain Club app. For help booking reservations, call Schaffer’s Camp during listed operating hours, or call Member Services. Parties with more than 8 people should email tdeal@tahoemountainclub.com to book.

Walk-ins Welcome
in bar (21+) or on deck
The best way to dine at Schaffer’s Camp is with a reservation, but if you decide last minute to treat yourself, we’ll do our best to accommodate. Walk-ins are welcome to dine either in the bar (21+) or on the Schaffer’s back deck (weather permitting). Walk-ins will be seated in the dining room only if space and staffing allows.

Cancellation Policy
While reservations are the best way to enjoy Schaffer’s Camp, they’re only effective if people actually show up. To ensure all Members have fair access to their Schaffer’s Camp benefit, any no-show or reservation canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged a $75 cancellation fee. Additionally, Members who repeatedly choose not to cancel in advance and/or no show for a reservation will be blocked from making future reservations.
Arrival

Getting To Schaffer’s
From the Village at Northstar, board the Big Spring Gondola (7 mins). Once at Mid-Mountain, walk across the snow to Tahoe Zephyr Express. Don’t wait in the line with skiers and riders, instead, wait on the platform between the chairlift and the lift shack. Every 3 minutes or so there will be a gondola to Schaffer’s Camp (8 mins). Once at the top, walk down the stairs and straight across the snow to Schaffer’s Camp. Look for the Tahoe Mountain Club signs.

Lift Ticket Required
A ticket is required to board both chairlifts mentioned above. If you already have a day ticket or season pass, that will suffice. If you do not, we are happy to provide a complimentary walking pass. Just ask for one at Ski Valet at Alpine Club.
Note: Walking passes are only available to folks with a Schaffer’s Camp reservation.

Schaffer’s Camp Location
Located at 7910′ above sea level at the top of Northstar California, getting to Schaffer’s Camp requires some logistics.
Dining at Schaffer’s Camp

Elevated Cuisine
At Schaffer’s Camp, we’ve redefined ski resort dining. Here, you won’t be limited to burgers and chicken tenders. Instead, enjoy made-to-order dishes such as Hamachi Poke, Vietnamese Pho, and Wood-Fired Skuna Bay Salmon. With a menu like this, the only thing better is the cocktails.

Express Buffet
In a hurry or want to dine on a variety of different items, we’ve got a solution for that! The Express Buffet at Schaffer’s Camp offers soups, salads, pizzas, and a chef’s entrée. Just let a server know you’ll be dining at the express buffet and they’ll get you settled up and on your way.

Get Comfortable
A true Schaffer’s Camp experience is about more than just the food. It’s about reaching ultimate relaxation so you’re re-energized when you get back out on the mountain. For the best experience, ditch your wet clothing in the coat room and trade cold ski boots for cozy slippers. It’s the most comfortable way to dine.

Enjoy The View
An incredible venue meets an unforgettable dining experience. With some of the best views in the region, Schaffer’s Camp is set above the treetops and looks out at the Sierra Crest. With floor-to-ceiling windows in the main dining room and panoramic views on the deck, you’ll find it hard to not be distracted during your meal.
